Enrollment Timeline

We offer both full time and part time enrollment for children ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Upon enrollment a non-refundable registration fee is charged. We do offer a registration discount to siblings if they are enrolled in our full time program.

• From January 2 — January 30, re-enrollment will be open to children who are currently in our care.
• Enrollment for new students is open year round, provided we have slots available.
• Enrollment is on a first-come-first-served basis, with limited slots available.
• We keep an up-to-date waiting list. The waiting list expires at the end of December. If families wish to remain on the waiting list for the next year, they need to reapply to the list by the third week of January.

Parents with children currently in our care will soon be able to re-enroll online. Families who wish to enroll with us for the first time are encouraged to visit us at WINGS to meet the staff, tour our child care home, and ask questions.

Families are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, provided all contractual forms are completed and returned to WINGS and all state requirements have been met.

Enrollment options are:

• Full Time Enrollment: Full-time status is a reserved space with a contractual weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly rate which includes unlimited hours of no less than an accumulation of 4 days per week.
• Part Time Enrollment: Part-time status is a reserved space with a contractual weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly rate with limited days and hours of care per week.
• Drop-In Program: Our Drop-In Program provides you with the pay-as-you-use option and gives you the flexibility to choose different days each week. The Drop-In Program is subject to space availability each day. Prior to the day of service we must have a completed application and up-to-date records. Parents or guardian must call one day prior to bringing the child to be certain there is space available. Drop-In status is a non-reserved space with a per use contractual charge with limited hours and days per week.

Prior to the first day of service we must have a completed application and up-to-date records of all children enrolled. A current health examination/immunization record for each child must be submitted prior to date of service.

• Children ages 1-6 must have a completed lead risk assessment on their Health Examination form.
• Children ages 2 and over must have completed TB results on their Health Examination form.

Fees and Plans for Payments

WINGS Child Care relies on the income from child care rates and fees for all of its operating expenses including staff wages. Therefore, it is essential that payments be paid promptly and regularly. Rates and fees are subject to change at any time, please request a current rate schedule when enrolling.

An annual non-refundable Registration Fee is due on the day of re-enrollment.

Non-refundable Registration Fee:

• $50.00 (1st child)
• $35.00 (2nd child, 3rd, child)
• Free (4th child)

Our child care rates are based on weekly care (refer to Rate Sheet ).

Your child’s enrollment is not confirmed until the registration and tuition has been paid in full and all required forms have been completed and returned.

Parents may choose to pay the center rate:

• weekly,
• bi-weekly, or
• monthly

The initial rate payment is due the first day of the week that your child attends thereafter payment is due on Monday morning no later than 10:00am.

Rate payments are based on contracted days your child is schedule to attend, rather than on actual days attended. For all contracted days your child is schedule to attend and is absent for any reason, your regular rate payment is still due. Sick days, vacation days, holidays, and emergency closings are considered to be part of the contracted schedule.

The WINGS provider and staff take 3 vacations per year with one week (5 days) paid and 10 days not paid. In addition, the child care is closed during all US Federal Holidays. We will post a vacation and holiday schedule by the first week in January.

Financial Assistance:

We accept child care subsidy and we will help you fill out all of the necessary forms for assistance.

Child care assistance or subsidy programs are available to help qualified families pay for their child care arrangements. In order to determine if your family qualifies for any of these programs, please contact the following organization:

Note: The State of Illinois Department of Human Services may not pay for the following:

• Registration fees
• Field trip fees
• Summer Activity fees
• Recreation fees
• Special Program fees
• Late fees

Admittance Policy:

We do not discriminate. We enroll families regardless of race, color, national, or ethnic origin. Each child will be granted all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all children at WINGS.
